Sword Academy is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada
We offer several types of classes to meet the needs of our students.
- These courses run one for six hours in different configurations (over a day, four or six weeks) and are open to anyone with an interest in Western Martial Arts. Each course covers the basic principles of a specific European weapon with hands on instruction. Completion of introductory course is mandatory before attending members classes.
- Our Junior Scholars courses are aimed at youths between the ages of 9 and 12 (13 and over attend regular classes). Classes are focused on teaching the techniques of the medieval long sword or renaissance rapier.
- Sword Academy membership provides students with a way to continue their study of Western Martial Arts with our weekly, year-round classes from various locations in Calgary.
- These 6 hour seminars are open to anyone with an interest in Western Martial Arts. Each seminar offers hands on instruction covering the basic principles of a specific European weapon. Locations are negotiable and inquiries are encouraged using our contact information.
